Indianola First UMC Scholarship Application

Scholarships for Graduating Indianola High School Seniors

Indianola First UMC and our Endowment Committee is proud to offer multiple scholarship opportunities for our graduating Indianola High School Seniors.

Valuing John Wesley’s belief that it is through education that we seek our collective highest potential, the Endowment Scholarship Committee is pleased to announce the continuation of its scholarship program to endorse and encourage our high school students in their next steps in their journey.

Education at its best was a life-long process guided by the Holy Spirit towards personal and social holiness, and it was the best possible tool for evangelism, for training in godliness, and for the betterment of society.” – John Wesley

Each scholarship has been bestowed by those that inspire the extraordinary and who held our congregation in high regard and deeply believed in taking care of others. We honor the following families and individuals; Paul & Phyllis Lee, Charles & Irene Laverty, Carol Shull, and Bernice Pickup – we are eternally thankful to each of them.
