Life Groups

Life Groups are the lifeblood of First UMC connectional ministries! Take a look below at just a handful of the life groups going on now, and see how you might connect with others. If you have questions, want to join a life group, or if you are interested in starting your own, contact Ellen.

MOMS Group

Life Group

This First UMC Life Group is for women wanting friendship, laughter, and a save place as they navigate the the road of parenting teens.

Listening Ladies

life group

Listening Ladies is a group for women supporting each other through life. Joining women of all ages to share joys and sorrows of life in a safe place, this group meets twice a month on Thursdays.

Meet and Eat

Life Group

This adult-only Life Group seeks to find connections with others through food.

Delicious. Sustaining. Food.

Meeting at area establishments, the group meets once a month for fellowship, conversation, and laughter.

Life Group

Formed for couples with children under the age of 14, this life group walks the path of parenting young kids together. Focusing on friendship and fun, this group enjoys dinner and fellowship with the whole family (and sometimes getting together with just the adults).

Conversations Uncorked

Life Group

Sometimes you just need a good glass of wine, and the members of this life group make that easy - they meet once a month at The Local Vine.

Focusing on laughter and friendship, drinking is not required, but conversation and a desire for relaxed fellowship is a must!

Women's Bible Study

Life Group

This connection Life Group of women focuses on studying God's word. Based around forming friendships and scripture, the life group is open to women of all life stages and ages.

If you enjoy sewing or crafting, this could be a great life group for you! This connectional group comes together twice a month to enjoy each other's fellowship while completing sewing and crafting projects.

Prayer Partners

Life Group

This women's prayer group takes time each week to lift up members of our congregation and community in intentional prayer. Additionally, they focus on spiritual growth through study.
